Default Corrupt MFT....How To Recover....

Hi All,

I was copying some photos onto a 16gb GT Corsair Survivor USB Stick, when I received some "Windows Delayed Write Errors" After which my Drive has renamed itself to "Removable Drive" & has 0 Bytes Used & 0 Bytes Free. Also says Unknown File System....

After a few Tests I have found that the MFT has become corrupt....Do any of the programs supplied by GetData Recover a corrupt MFT or does Anyone know of a program which might fit the bill!!!!

Thanks for any help & advice

Grzyb

Download Recover My Files v4 here: http://www.recovermyfiles.com or http://download.getata.com/RecoverMyFiles-Setup.exe

Run a Recover Drive search on the physical disk and you should get them all back.

Sorry about the delay...Been on Holiday,

When I try the Option you mention I get a Red Warning..."No readable....." And the "Next" Option is greyed Out...So I can't proceed??

Hi

It sounds like your drive has physical problems and is not being recognized by your PC.

Your only hope may be to find a hardware recovery service - but be prepared to spend $$$ on this.
