External hard disk not reading now..!
i accidentally formatted a small section(70 gb) of my friends external HD(seagate 1.5tb) to ntfs....now that HD is not running on his mac..is there anyway to undo the thing i did..

Hi,
Can you tell me what partitions existed before you did this? What format were they, MAC HFS?

OK - please download Recover My Filesv4 from http://download.getdata.com/RecoverMyFiles-Setup.exe and run a Recover Drive search on the hard disk in automatic mode. This should find all the partitions - including any mac partitions.
