Question will RMF work if a drive was repartioned and formatted

I have a computer that got hosed and had to run HP's cd to restore to original. However the tool for some ungodly reason ran itself on a second drive I had installed internally and repartitioned (2 partions and thers is also 90gig of unallocated space on it) it and formatted it. It then copied the files it needed to install the OS and other files on it. I have tried running RMF4 on it and did a drive restore on one of the partitions but after running for hours it came up with a message " out of memory" and stopped.
My question is will RMF4 work on a drive that was partitioned? Also any thoughts on the out of memory message?

Hi,

Recover My Files v4 should find the files for you. It is hard to say exactly why this out of memory error happens.

Please download and use this version:

http://download.getdata.com/support/...-debug).en.exe

This version has a debug module and if an error happens it should produce a detailed report that you can email to us. You can send the report to support@getdata.com

Thank you.

Hi,

Yes, uninstall RMFv4 and then install the debug version.
