Yes, you can.
Follow the instructions here: Recover a Formatted Drive with Recover My Files v4 Especially the part in green when tells you about stopping the search early. Before you stop, write down the block that it is up to, because you can then use the OPTIONS > ADVANCED > "Prompt for start sector" if you wish to later resume the search from the location you stop at. Thank you.

I'm very happy with the program! my external HD crach and I though I lost all my music (40,000+) but recovery got them back! Now my problem is that I seved the files on another HD under Root, I did this twice but , the second time I forgot to change the location of the recovery files and they end up on my C:driver and now my C drive is full. I found the Root files and I moved them again. Is anything alse that I need to delete from my C drive to gain room in my C dirve? I had alot of space before the recovery. I think recovery add somthing that I don't need and is taking all that space! please help with the location that you think recovery put files!

Hi,
Recover My Files will save the results into the folder that you specify, and will use the same file and folder structure that you can see in the search results screen. If you accidentally saved files to your C:, just move the folder to another drive (or cut and paste) and your C: drive space should be back to the way it was.
