My Documents Folder Empty
Good afternoon everyone,
After scanning the drive for lost partitions and files we have located the user's My Documents folder, however the folder is completely empty except for folders like My Pictures and My Music which are also completely empty. Is there something we are missing? It seems that most of the other folders have their files listed and are recoverable.
The drive was formatted with the Quick option during a reinstallation of Windows. Not much was put back onto it beyond drives and MS Office. The system is logged in as local administrator however the previous account was a domain account (no roaming profiles). Local admin shouldn't have any difficulty accessing a user folder on the local machine.
We have purchased a key and have installed the software to a secondary hard drive (in attempts to not overwrite the disk further). Any tricks we missed or should the files just show up like all the rest?
