Default Difficulties viewing saved files

This is my problem. I can preview my Word and .VB files in Recover My Files..there's no problem whatsoever there. BUT, after having saved the files the text get all scrambled up...sort of encoded.

E.g:
jGgA|/Ğ# 5 A8A eש,72 cnȩܐ{cەwBwZ x/
EM >%/ƞ ]VH' WP W^>*)..E՝#Xjѩ%5?8 K.v?|m |kK<z֟4Z[ Bݺc;}wl?d W1`/
I've tried opening it with Notepad, Word 2003, textedit in DOS, using the "Recover text from any fileformat" in Word. No luck at all.

Is there a way to fix this? Perhaps its a problem with the filesystem(NTFS)??

Thanks.

Default Data Recovery

The Recover My Files preview engine is very powerful and you can preview corrupt Microsoft Word documents that Word itself cannot open. This sounds to be what is happening in your situation. Please download the following Microsoft Word repair utility, http://download.getdata.com/wordrepair.zip and reapir your Word documents. You can run this program in batch mode if you have lots of files to repair.

This file may be corrupt. We need to take a look at it. Please send a copy of the file to support@*getdata.com (please remove the * from the email address).
