Default Not sure your software can do this, but............

Got a Maxtor STM3500320AS that was in an external caddy, that appears to have lost it partitions.
It was originally FAT32, and in the caddy. Not sure what happened to it, but it registers on the PC when in the caddy, but no drive letter etc. Go to Disk Manager, and it has an ID of drive 7, but is unreadable, no volumes, no option to initialise the disc or format it.
When removed from the caddy, and connected straight to the mobo, the PC will not boot. When connected to a linux server it just causes srst errors.
I have downloaded the trial version of your software, and it sees it too as drive 7, but I cannot do anything with it.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Default Data recovery

Sorry to say, but it sounds like the drive has a physical problem (perhaps there is an error on the circuit board).

If the data is very important, your best option is a hardware recovery service, although this is a much more expensive option.
