Hello,
I downloaded RMF for evaluation before I decide to purchase. The case is that I'd had to run the program three or four times because the computer at some point, restarts with out notice. While doing the test (i have tried all) I can see many files that I would like to recover, then suddenly restarts. Can you tell me something about? Thanks |

This is very unusual, but can mean that you have a physical problem with your drive.
Make sure you are using the latest version of Recover My Files, currently v3.83. If this version does not get past the problem spot, then stop the search prior to reaching it (note down the cluster number that the search is up to prior to stopping it). Save the files that you have found so far. Now go to OPTIONS then ADVANCED and put a tick in the box for prompt for start cluster. You will now be prompted to enter in the starting position. Enter the number you wrote down, but skip ahead some clusters so as to try and jump over the problem area of your drive.
