Recovering old photo's

Like 1 year ago i lost a cd with a lot of photo's i had made.

I've been searching for it, but have lost faith in finding it again.

Now i've found this program, and it gives me hope for recovering the photo's.

I still have the camera with the memory stick wich i have made all the photo's that i've lost.

The photo's were made with this camera arround 2005 and up.

I havent bought this program yet, i just downloaded it to check it out.

So i scanned the memory stick and all it found were like 30 pics that have recently been deleted.

Now the question is.

Can i recover my photo's from years ago?

When deleted data is overwritten by new data it is destroyed.

So if you had a 10mb card, filled it up with 10 x 1mb photos, then deleted them, then took 8 more photos, the best chance you have is to recover 2 photos only.

What is recover 2 photos???? Can you explain it briefly???

In the scenario, 8 photos have been overwritten leaving only 2 of the old photos that are recoverable.
