    Default File shown not recovered

    HI,

I'm using version 4.6.8 (1012). I made an scan of a formated disk on which there were 2 partitions one of them a virtual one. I 've five files that were compressed using 7zip and the extension was dropped for security reasons (I mean: if the file's name was ABC.7z it was stored as ABC, the standard procedure we used was to change the name when we needed to unzip the file). The program identifies the files' names correctly, reports the size correctly (around 3.5Gb) but when the file is saved we get an empty file and a size mismatch message. Is there a way to recover the files?.

    Thanks

    Default Data Recovery

    Hi,

Was the full file and folder structure found during the search?

Were there other files on the disk besides these compressed ones?

It may help if I can chat with you about this, so try the chat button in the top right hand corner of the screen and ask for me (or ask when i will be next on if someone else answers).

    Thanks
