boot disk?

    Can you boot up off of RMF and then recovery a formatted drive?

    Default Data Recovery

    RMF is not boot software - but if you create your own window boot CD then you can run Recover My Files after you boot.

    However the easiest way to recover a formatted drive is to connect it to another computer as the secondary drive - then you can install and run Recover My Files on the C: drive and scan the problem drive.
