Default How to format hard disk completely unable to recover in future.

Is it possible to format the hard disk completely even making difficult to recover the files. Because I plan to sell my pc and buy a laptop.
As I have my personal and official files are saved in my hard disk its very risk to just format using fat32 or ntfs.

In order to destroy data completely you need to overwrite it.

There are many disk wiping tools available for download, such as WipeDrive from WhiteCanyon software.
