Hi Everyone,
I so need someone's help. I just deleted the partition of an external hard drive. I believe the model number is ST9100801U2-RK. It is a Seagate 100gb usb2.0 external hard drive. My questions are: 1. Can I still recover all the data in the drive? (completely or partially?) 2. Is there a software anyone can recommend to do this(the name will be helpful). 2. Is it hard to use the software? I'm just a regular computer user 3. Do I need to send it to a data recovery company? If so what's the rate? Please pardon me if my questions are irrelevant to this forum, this is my first time posting here. Thank you very much for everyone's help. Regards, Helpless Me Masaki |

Yes, your data is still on the drive and can be recovered.
Download Recover My Files data recovery software from www.recovermyfiles.com or click on this link: http://download.getdata.com/RecoverMyFiles-Setup.exe. Install the program and run it from your C: drive. In the first wizard window, select "Fast Format Recover". In the second wizard window, select the drive letter, but if you no longer have a drive letter, select the physical drive that corresonds to the size of your external USB. Run this search, it should take less than 30 minutes to complete. Check the results screen to see what files are found. Click on the files found to preview their content in the preview window. Once you have confirmed you have found your files, purchase a product activation key at www.recovermyfiles.com and save the files to your C: drive. If a Fast Format Recover does not work, you may need to try a "Complete Format Recover". In the file selection window, use the default selcted file types (dont add more file types or it will just slow the search down). This will be a longer search but will get your files back. Good luck.
