Default Tax File Recovery

80 GB hard drive failed, wouldn't boot. Windows was reinstalled but a format was not done. Some files were there-word, excel, jpg. Stopped using systems until new hard drive came. Installed it and slaved the old drive. Have run the software (v 3.94) with a full format several times. It will list 164 tax files (turbo tax) but they are all the same size and all contain the same info. I saved them on the last search to the new drive and they open but they are all the same. I had a total of 12 different returns on the old drive. My last search came up with an error about indexing. Any suggestions on searching differently?

Please try a "Complete File Search" for the specific tax file type.

This is a very odd error. Can you please try running this search on the "physical drive". If you get a problem, cut and paste the event log (bottom left corner of the results screen) here.

Thank you.
