Deleted Pictures???

hi can anyone tell me if this program can recover pictures that were deleted???

i had 2 usb harddrives, one for application and othe for storage, excidently, i erased the one with pictures and put alot of data on that hard drive, whe i realiezed what i had done, it was too late i had quick formated that hd 2 times, i tried this software, it can locate all files that i had, mostly picture, it can see there names and folders and correct sizes, but when i click on picture i get no preview. so i downloaded the whole folder with all the pictures, all the files are there on my desktop but non of them would open, did i recover them or they are lost?

When you run Recover My Files please try a "Complete File Search" of the new drive letter for specific file types. This should get all your pictures back so that you can preivew them. However, they may no longer have their original file name.

i have done that, program finds all pictures and folders, but i dont get any preview on any pictures, they have same names, then i saved folders and pictures, they are displaying corrects sizes and names but non of them will open, not with any program, its like pictures are there but thier data isn't

My problems are similar. All image details are shown, even of images where the recovery status is 'overwritten' and .CR2 file where the recovery status is 'very good' and yet the image display window shows 'Corrupt File-Preview not available'.
