Quicktax .q05

I'm trying to recover Quicktax files for 2005 software. I've done scans on both C drive and CD where files were backed up (CD isn't working) and Recover my files is not finding them. I've looked in the "other files" after a scan and they aren't there?

Nothing has been done to my computer so not sure why its not finding the files. I'm not using my desktop until I recover these files so am on a laptop in case you may think I'm overwriting files by using the computer.


Help!!! need my file desperately!

Hi,

Please email me a sample QuickTax 2005 and I will take a look at the file format.

In the mean time, run a "Complete File Search" just for the Quick Tax file type (listed at the bottom in the file type wizard window). Currently we support up to q04 files, but the file structure may not have changed. Please let me know how this goes.
