I am only using the demo as of now. I did a WinXP re-install on a partitioned drive only to find that it erased the logical drive of my other partition. So now it shows up as raw, unallocated space. It's a 150gb drive and its found almost 21000 files as of 15hrs into the search.
My question is: Can I recover files that are not on the selection list? I ask this because I want to recover some "save game" files from Elder Scrolls Oblivion(a game). I have no idea what their extentions are, but all I see in RecoverMyFiles are data files like .Jpgs or .avis being found. This is a deciding factor on whether I buy this software or not. Thanks, Brodie001 |

I am finished searching my drive and it found 65000 files... well, only took 36 hrs. I guess 150 gb of data is alot. Well, I am still wondering if anyone knows if you can recover files other than on the list. It seems to find those fine, what about unusual files like .sav or .dat or any random extention?
-please help Brodie001 |

I had the same proplem you are having except I lost my second hdd after I formatted my C: drive. I was unable to access my 300 gb D: drive after I formatted C: . I purchased RECOVER MY FILES and was able to recover all the files on my D: hdd. I have yet to find out why when you format a sata drive that any other sata drives you have ( D:, E: ) they will also have to be reformatted. I feel sure that RMF will recover all the files on this drive that you want to recover.

Recover My Files will find any type of deleted file. When it runs a search is uses the old Operating System records for each file (MFT records) to find them.
Specific support has been built into the program for 160+ file types. This allows these file to also be found by searching for the unique file header.
