Default Unmountable_boot_volume

Help, my pc just crashed and I am getting the blue screen of death with Unmountable_boot_volume in the header. I would like to recover this drive.

The facts:

I am attempting to recover files from the damaged workstation to my laptop.
The damaged HD should only have about 7 G so I think I have room on the Laptop.
I have downloaded the RMF application to my laptop.

"What type of cable should I use?" A USB1 USB2 or other network cable.?

Will I be able to suceesfully recover my files?

Thanks,

Fred

Default Data Recovery

You need to connect the problem drive to another computer as the secondary drive. An easy way to do this is using a USB drive bay.
