Help, my pc just crashed and I am getting the blue screen of death with Unmountable_boot_volume in the header. I would like to recover this drive.
The facts: I am attempting to recover files from the damaged workstation to my laptop. The damaged HD should only have about 7 G so I think I have room on the Laptop. I have downloaded the RMF application to my laptop. "What type of cable should I use?" A USB1 USB2 or other network cable.? Will I be able to suceesfully recover my files? Thanks, Fred |

You need to connect the problem drive to another computer as the secondary drive. An easy way to do this is using a USB drive bay.
