My Documents Missing

I had two harddisks, one was primary 80 GB and the other one as secondary 200GB, the OS was XP. I gifted the system to one of my friend and before that I removed the 200GB harddisk which mainly contains my data's.

One of the folder in C: drive was My Documents Folder where I had all my personal data.

I just started reusing an old PIII system and added the 200GB as primary harddisk and installed XP without formatting the HardDisk. I see all the folder in C: drive except the My Documents folder.

I am in full of shock. Is there a way to recover the files?
Any help will be Greatly appreciated?

The login name was different from the old system, will this make a difference?
