How to actually recover 1 folder with it's contents?
I'm searching for a folder with its contents, it was deleted by AVAST software, I was so out of it last night due to lack of sleep that I executed delete commands for all the files it was listing. Seems AVAST deleted that folder.
I'm sure I can locate the files since it was on a portable hard drive. Any suggestions on how to do this? I ran fast search and no yields.

Data Recovery
I have not used AVAST software - is it the anti virus program that you were using? If so, the first thing to check would be the quarantine folder to make sure the whole folder was not moved.
If you still cannot find it, then Run Recover My Files and select "Complete File Search". Search the "physical drive" for file types that you know were located in that folder. Preview the content in the results screen. Do you find them?
